This feels kinda retro - I like it!

Recently came back to reading f!s after years of essentially forgetting it existed.

Does Page 2 of a f!s post remind anyone else a bit of an "old school" type message board thing? Except with the added bonus of being able to be anon, if you want? I know people can abuse the anon thing, but there's also something nice about having a place where you can talk to other people, without having to share anything about your personal identity, or worry about whether or not something you say will gain you likes/followers.

There's an anon who pops up now and again to "warn" us about the IP logging because, in their mind, it's a terrible thing since Case can totally sell our data to nefarious companies/countries.

Nice to have you, back!

And yeah, that's a lot of the appeal for me. Anonymity puts the pressure off of trying to act cool and makes me less paranoid since I don't have to worry about someone piecing together info to figure out who I am in real life as slim as that chance is. I only glance over the secrets anymore.
