158. I really have a problem with people calling WuFei sexist. If you read his backstory (EPISODE ZERO, PEOPLE), you realize exactly why he's like that and that while it's still a negative attitude (yes, he seriously needs to get over it, but it was fucking traumatic, okay), he does it because he doesn't want a repeat of what happened before. NOT because he has anything against women. He's just an ass about it because he's an ass to EVERYONE. Deliberately vague because I guess someone could still get spoiled even though it's been out for forever...

Pretty much, though I love him anyway. He's such a cute angry thing.

Episode ZERO, in a way, made the pilots more believable for me. I had a hard time accepting them as they were without SOMETHING to have made them that way.

Duo's backstory still moves me to this day. So many manly tears ;____;

AHH DUO yes. And his stuff during the series was just so good. Fighting to save Hilde and everything? Fuck yeah, bb! Haha, when I was way younger, I had a friend who wanted to marry him. Not that I could at all blame her ;D

HE WAS THE GOD OF DEATH YEAH (and the Deathscythe Hell was the coolest Gundam ever).

I wanted Zechs, and I secretly wanted Duo too, but I wouldn't have voiced that to her, lol. But back then, my main love was Quatre. Ohhh god, what was it with me and guys that flip out and take down entire colonies.

(Oh my god seriously -- I loved the scythe so much. I wanted to take that thing for a ride.)

OMG Quatre. He was so badass. He had a posse! A pimp if there ever was one.

(I like Heavyarms to, but mostly for the lulz that it had, like, a built-in Swiss Army knife.)

God, yes. He was such a lovable klutz (seriously! He was tripping over stuff in his Gundam ALL THE TIME), and he was originally SUCH A BRAT!

(Heavyarms had little chicken legs XD It was basically made to be laughed at.)

Plus he had goggles.

Well, I think I just realized the root of my goggle fetish.

(Come to think of it, GW had some pretty lawl-worthy mechs in it. But that's what made it even better.)

Totally agreed. Just because he deals with several women unpleasantly on... well, okay, many occasions, that doesn't mean you can ignore the fact that he's just all around a bastard. And his backstory... ;;

And yes, I adore him, and Duo, and the other boys to a lesser extent. Probably a little too much, but I can live with that.

His backstory SLAYS me every time. I mean my god, his wife died in his arms because she tried to prove herself to him (and, lol, protect everything). I think he's allowed to have a complex (in addition to being a jerk lol).

Gundam Wing was my first fandom and my god if it isn't one of the ones that's closest to my heart. ♥

So saaaad.. And yes, definitely allowed. Although he also needs to loosen up some, eventually. ♥

Second for me, but longest lasting. I'm always ridiculously happy to see positive mention of it. ...Although I think the secret counts as a mixed message.

And I must say, your "name" is pretty awesome. Very creative use of symbols.

I'm not as into it now as I used to be (video games, Fire Emblem especially, took over my soul) but every time I see a secret, I get all excited.

I keep starting myself on new fandoms, but GW draws me right back in. That might change if I were any good at video games, but I've only finished three games ever. The Fire Emblem characters seem pretty neat, though, from what little I've gathered in random places.

No explanation necessary, it's really nice. ♥

Every once in a while I'll write a little something for it on a meme, and I do have the boxset, so I rewatch episodes from time to time (the last four or so are so my favorites. Mostly for the ZECHS AND NOIN scene ♥). But FE? I play definitely for the characters on that series -- the plot's pretty generic -- and for the fact that it's one of the few GBA games that I don't have to find save points in, so it's very convenient.

I just swing by the communities and rewatch things when the mood strikes.

If I had a GBA, I might try picking it up. I'll have to keep it in mind for later.

I hear you can get them pretty cheap these days. Only trouble is that the first FE game to pop up over here (NOT Sacred Stones) is tricky to find -- apparently, it didn't do very well, so they didn't release very many of them. I got it on a whim when it came out ^^' Other good games I'd rec if you get one would be Golden Sun and its sequel, The Lost Age, because both of those are pretty ace.

I'll write those titles down! Always in the market for time wasters. ♥
