I really only liked the first season, there was a subversive humor there that was completely absent in the later seasons.

I still love this show I won't pretend I don't, but I do enjoy the highschool years much more than when she moves on to college. I can still watch it to the end though.

Salem and Hilda+Zelda were my favourite things about the show, for me they really helped to make it as much fun as it was and I liked Sabrina just fine, I just felt that it really needed that foursome dynamic to work at it's best.

I was always more partial to Sabrina/Harvey tho, sorry OP. :P

So many shows from Back In The Day were like that though. Good and fun in high school and then they go to college and things just don't work the way they used to.

Saved by the Bell is another one that comes to mind, Buffy (I powered through season 4 but I kind hated it and stopped watching early in s5), Boy Meets World...basically any shows that rely on that 'kids in school' dynamic to some degree. And then they 'grow up' when they go off to college and it's missing something.

(sure, Buffy has a whole lot else going on but it still gets weird after she graduates)

Buffy season 4 had issues, but I still maintain that 5 and 6 were great seasons. It wasn't the same show, but it was still really good.

I liked the show when Sabrina was in high school (and Sabrina/Harvey was probably my first OTP), but I kept watching it for Salem. I love that little guy.

I have urges to rewatch this show but haven't cause I too don't want it disappointing me. I feel like for sure that last season where she's in college is bad, but I don't remember the others too well.

I've never rewatched, but dude, I loved Salem. He was hilarious. I liked the aunts too, but SALEM!!!

I actulally shipped Sabrina with Salem. In my defense, I was pretty young when I watched it.

This is so true. I just watched the episode where she time travels to the sixties, and the militant bra-burning straw feminist teacher, I can't even. I wonder what I thought when I watched it growing up?
