I mean her social intelligence would turn on a dime, as needed. Being comically bad at human interactions is her thing. She was basically written like an alien being who just landed on earth. Like so bad she needs to be reminded that referring to a deceased person as "the remains" to their grieving parents' faces is super insensitive. And then in another episode, she's got boyfriends who don't notice she's kind of an emotionless robot? And then she's back to being a weird alien again, because like I said, that's her schtick.

Yeah, ITA, her characterization was SUPER inconsistent and it was really frustrating. Especially because there were aspects of her that I related to a lot, so I was constantly shifting from feeling really connected to the character and then being totally jarred out of that connection by the wonky writing.
