I feel so bad for thinking that the author herself could be 'doing it wrong...' but the early characterization just doesn't match the later characterization at all! Where is the Remus who was Harry's mentor in book 3? I miss him. :(

Yeah, that's the way I feel as well. I would've been fine with Remus/Tonks or whatever, had it been handled better. But the later books just turned a sudden spotlight on romance with almost all characters.

And yeah, you can't really say Rowling was doing it wrong, but you can at least say that the ending wasn't the way you would've written it. And with you a lot more, I would say. xD;
