The only thing I think Emilia Clarke does well is giving speeches.

Same, which is why I don't mind her as Dany most of the time because Dany's entire characterization post-season 1 is speeches and dragons so it's cool. But she's easily one of the weakest actors on the show and it's noticeable.

IDK I would have hoped for some sort of emotion in the last episode.

Last episode was actually the first time, she actually made me think she could act.

da

I am the exact opposite, lol.

She was so freakin' cute and charming in "Me Before You." She laughed and cried and made sour faces. She's adorable in interviews, too, her eyebrows laugh in the face of gravity. The GOT people just don't want Danaerys being that way. Alas. :[

I think a lot of people were really invested in Dany at the start and have got somewhat disillusioned with her as the storyline went on. I know this is deliberate of the storytelling, but I think that a lot of people have blamed the change in feels on the actor instead of thinking about why their feelings about Dany have changed as she got more powerful.

I think Dany is just a freaking boring character. I don't think Emilia is any worse than a lot of the other Thrones actors (though not nearly as good as some), and she's quite charming in other capacities.

While I don't think she's the best actress on the show, I also don't think she's terrible. For me she's doing perfectly fine. She has some dodgy moments, but also great ones.

I do get why some people would have liked a stronger actress in what seems to be one of the two most important roles of the entire story now... but I also don't get the whining about what an awful actress she apparently is.
(I adore Sansa, but I think Sophie Turner for example isn't that much better in my opinion. I think she got actually worse. All the other actresses are always perfectly fine to me tho.)

I think Sansa generally sounds and looks like she's going to be breaking down in tears at any given moment (I think the actress does this most of the time in most of her roles tbh).

anyone with negative shit to say about her or her acting can catch me outside, especially if they're talking shit about her to hold up another actress.

I think she's improved a lot and is actually very good this season.
