It'd probably be pretty boring, though. Peasants have way too many everyday problems to discuss much politics unless it's the immediate effects upon their lives.

the minutiae of daily peasant life isn't enough for you, anon? Well I'm sorry we can't be all royal blooded Dragon taming overlords. Who feeds the troops? who fashions their armor? Crops don't grow themselves, anon.

I can guarantee you, the harsh winters and famines are a dratheir own. And freedom? that's a reoccurring theme here on Far Edges of the Thrones ...

nayrt

Yes, tell me all about the fascinating drama of crop failure and livestock husbandry and people getting frostbite!

I dunno dude, there are entire genres that are about the lives of the everyday wo/man. You don't have to be royalty to have an interesting life, or if not an interesting life, an interesting way of seeing the world that translates well to novel format.

Off the top of my head, you could write a book about a boy who sees Drogon flying by his village and it inspires him so much that he tries to create the first flying machine. Or maybe a story about the life of someone trying to eke out a living north of the wall. There's lots you could do.
