Also cute, really.

Rewatching Lois and Clark?

I liked the first three seasons. I thought Dean Cain was pretty decent in it, but I don't think he's really ever found another character that suited him as much.

I downloaded the full series a while back and do a rewatch now and then. It's such a goofy, fun series that didn't feel the need to go grim-dark. I loved their Lex, too, though the love triangle stuff with Lois and Lex and Clark/Superman got kind of old.

Just the other day I was thinking about that one villain from the future who managed to get elected president using subconscious suggestion, and how much he reminded me of Trump....

ayrt

The love triangle stuff did get very old, but John Shea was a pretty good Lex.

Tempus, yeah, supervillain as president sounds about right.

He's done Hallmark movies... so, at least, you can still see him (if you can stomach the movies - not disparaging them as I like them, but I know they're not for everyone)

Isn't he a huge asshole with a massive ego IRL?

I don't know about regularly, but my sister's met him several times (through Comic Cons and where she works at a hotel) and he was extrememly great all times, even remembering her after almost two years.

I might be getting him mixed up with another Superman actor, I just remember hearing one of the Superman's is apparently infamous for being an ego maniacal prick.

Not Dean Cain. He's considered really great to work with and a sweetheart to fans.

Some people said that Christopher Reeve got way into his own mythology during Superman 2 and 3 and became a bit of a diva, but then grew up and got over himself. There's a lot of conflicting stories about Henry Cavill, though.

Same.

And he's my favorite Supes that isn't animated.

He's still my fave Superman ever.

He was such a great Superman (and a total cutie patootie).

I'm sad to hear he hasn't landed some other big stuff.

I've just always loved that Dean Cain gave us a brown-eyed not-all-white Superman and (from my perspective) not only were no fucks given, many call him their favorite.

I liked him in The Broken Hearts Club.

(Anonymous) 2017-08-24 08:13 am (UTC)(link)
instead he became one of those washed-up actors who decided to turn to being a rightwing mouthpiece for an easy audience
