Yeah ia but is "super smell" even a superpower that any super hero has?

Yes. Most animalistic heroes. Wolverine for a specific example. Vixen or Animal Man could pick it up, but they have control of what animal abilities they have, so wouldn't have a huge problem with unwanted smells most of the time.

I'm pretty sure the Silver Age Superman did, just because literally everything about him was super.
