I think it would suck to have healing powers - I mean, healing other people. If you told other people, they'd probably think you're a quack or a con, and if you tried to prove it, you'd spend the rest of your life with people challenging it and trying to prove you a fraud.
But how could you go through life with the power to help people in pain, and not use it?

And if people believed you, you would be inundated with requests to heal people, and how do you prioritize, as you can't heal everyone? Is the mother with breast cancer more important than the firefighter in a coma or the child who has a faulty heart? Or whatever maladies you choose for whomever you choose. Even if you didn't publicize your talents so that you were swamped with requests, how would you decide for yourself who to use it on and go about doing it? I would feel so guilty every time I heard about someone dying as if I should have done something to prevent it.
