These days? Spewing vitriol is worse than the vitriol itself, since sjw/haters intentionally twist or obscure facts in order to push vile accusations. For fictional fandom spaces.

They do it from such a club-members-only/clique mentality, as if not being part of a ship they hate makes them superior. Something like that...
The controlling way OP prevents discourse by hiding the fandom while OP also starts moralizing is a red flag.
