The reason I like this show so much is the absolute LACK of tension. Everything's so cheerful and bright and the people are excited to bake and kind to one another. It beats the hell out of overproduced, fake-drama-stuffed American reality shows.

The elimination on this show is the most no-drama I've ever seen and I watch US, UK and Aussie reality shows.

The tension isn't as hyped up as American reality shows, but make no mistake, it's still there. When they announce who's leaving, what do you think those short pauses are for?

Yeah, I agree mostly. There is definitely tension there and things hyped up for dramatic purposes, but on the whole, it's a very happy, supportive show.
