It annoys me how much mileage Dan Savage gets on slapping folklore like GGG or the masturbation death grip onto any problem.

Maybe, just maybe, sex is physically, mentally, and emotionally awkward for many people, and changing your masturbation habits or giving fetish wear a try isn't going to make it less awkward.

I had the impression that GGG was more about indulging a partner than trying to become less awkward.
