I'm not bothered because to me it's incredibly obvious that time has passed

In the most recent one, Sansa mentioned it'd been weeks since theyd heated from jon, though he probably replied back in thr recent episode or 2. Soooo... it's been weeks.

Also, they've been pretty solid on implying a 1 season to 1 year, at least to me.

Even the raven in the last episode was calculated by some peeps and is theoretically possible.

Got has issues (Jon how'd you not freeze to death like the other dude) but ttime shit ain't it.

The show has always been guilty of rather sloppy writing. I'm not sure why people are making a fuss about it now.

I don't really have a problem imagining different amounts of time have passed in between characters having scenes together. I would rather that than be subjected to whatever bullshit time-filler plots D&D might come up with while waiting for the final war to finally happen.

Honestly, I'm only in it for two reasons at this point: 1. Dany and dragon battles and 2. Watching Cersei's ultimate fall

The real issue I have is that these plot and time jumps seem jarring because the episodes feel like there is no time to breathe. It's similar to Lost's last season. Here's a story where there are so many well developed characters and so much going on between everyone's intertwined stories filled with questions that need answers, and a feeling from fans that something big is going to go down that the creators must answer as many questions as possible, tie together reunions and meetups, shooting down or confirming many popular fan theories, and keeping the promise that the action and plot twists are massive all the while making the tough choices to cut out things that fans may like but the creators may find is not integral to the overall show.

I think it's the same reason GRRM has had a difficult time finishing the book series. I understand why this has to happen as it does, and I don't resent the creators for making the decisions they do. It's just a little frustrating to have to deal with it with GoT because I've seen it executed really well with other shows, like Breaking Bad.

Honestly, things moved so slowly in Season 5 that I honestly don't care, I'm just glad that plot is happening. (I do get a bit annoyed that everyone has a wardrobe of beautiful outfits perfectly suited to whatever landscape they're currently standing in but whatever, pretty clothes!) It is a little fast but a) I understand the practical reasons why, which helps me overlook it and b) stuff like having an extra long season finale is happening which is a good idea.
