This. I don't care if society conditioned me to like it either, as long as liking it isn't going to hurt anyone. Nobody's taste develops in a vacuum, and liking things is good and healthy. And in fandom, it's rare that people will like things they would have hated if it weren't for "conditioning." People hate things that are supposed to be aimed at them all the time.
