Fiction is always full of characters doing things that aren't appropriate like 14 year olds running away from home, making deals with evil witches, and marrying dudes they've never actually had a conversation with.

Yeah, that's the part that especially makes me laugh. So it's okay for fictional 14 year olds to be trained assassins or soldiers or other things that are most definitely not age-appropriate, but it's not okay for them to have sex? I mean, if people are going to clutch their pearls and scream "think of the children," there are a lot of other things they should be getting up in arms over too.
