Allow me to introduce you to this obscure little series called A Song of Ice and Fire. Which was so reviled by ~the normies~ for its detailed and romanticized depiction of the rape of a 13-year-old and her journey to figure out how to enjoy fucking her much older warlord husband that each and every book in the series has hit the bestseller list and the entire thing's been turned into a much-celebrated tv show.

It's not "almost nonexistent". It's actually pretty damn common if you read fantasy, historical, or pseudo-historical fantasy fiction. It's also not that rare in literary fiction - because remember, we're talking about teenagers here, not seven year olds, and it's culturally accurate to a lot of settings.
