Wasting a Sunday. :( I literally have no idea where the time went.

I have a bit of an excuse today as I'm not really feeling well, but still.

Taking/Soaking in a bath. I always think it will be great, but I usually just end up feeling terrible. I wish I could have a hot bath without the hot steam.

Have you tried soaking a small towel in cold water and putting it on your forehead while in the bath (maybe keep a bowl with cold water to refresh it nearby)?

I am fixing a hot bath now. I am going to try this. Will report back in half an hour.

It sort of worked? It felt better but could not keep it cold enough. I might get a fan to put in there.

I've always preferred showers to baths.

The tub in my apartment is small/uncomfortable. Totally not nice to lounge in, and the tub itself always feels so cold to lie down in even in warm water since it's metal.

My last apartment had no tub.

Overeating on chocolate when I'm feeling miserable. I feel better for a little while and then I don't.

Eating an entire bag of crisps.

Eating donuts. I always think "Oh, I'll get two, I love donuts!" and then when I'm done I feel horrible. (I don't do it very often, for the record.)

Eating too many unhealthy snacks.

I do it every few months and always feel gunky afterwards yet I never learn.

This has been my entire weekend. I'm usually good at just eating a few small unhealthy snacks throughout the week, but every other month I just have a huge binge session. The only thing I don't regret is the bagels (good gluten free ones are hard to find) and the new Haagen Daaz flavor I had (salted caramel truffle A+++++++).

Drinking red wine. I love the taste of it but it gives me the absolute worst headaches.

Getting drunk enough to suffer a hangover the next day.

There are few regrets as overpowering as the "I'm NEVER. DRINKING. AGAIN." regret. Although there are some potent regrets that often accompany the "I'm NEVER. DRINKING. AGAIN." regret. Such as the "Ohmygooooddd why did I SAY that?!!" regret and the "Oh christ, nonono, where is my photo ID??! I know I had it when I was going into the bar, but now I can't find it!!!" regret.

Deliberately staying up late when I know I have to be up early.

I'm bad to just get so pissy that I need to go to bed that even if I'm tired I'll go "Fuck you, work can't control my life like this. I will sleep when I want to! Not when work forces me to!"

And then the next day I'm dead tired and miserable. Was it worth it, past me? Was it worth it?

This is me right now (and pretty much every work night, to be completely honest).

Last night I only got about 3 hours of sleep, and every single time I tell myself it's not happening again, but it always does.

Glad I'm not the only one, well glad's not quite the right word but at least I'm not alone in being spiteful about staying up too late.

I get like this when I'm supposed to do something special the next day, only I'm also "eh, it'll be fine" when it's obviously not. Just go to sleep, self!

Dating some people I shouldn't have, and not figuring out my sexuality sooner. I've heard SO DAMN MANY TIMES that you should never regret that kind of stuff because it's good to experiment and it helps you learn about yourself and it gives you life experience and a bunch of other similar bullshit, but no. I wish it had never happened.
