I don't see the point in being nasty to anyone based on what food they do or don't like. It's all a matter of personal tastes. For example I'm sick of people thinking I'm a damn weirdo because I dislike cherries.

Seriously! Everyone in my family, but me loves meatloaf. Now my immediate family never gave me any problems about it. Mom even made sure there was something for me to eat on meatloaf night before I could cook for myself, and other people in the family used to give her and me so much shit over it! Why? WTF even!?

my parents have eaten chili on spaghetti every Sunday for lunch for decades. I think it's totally gross (I have no problem with either spaghetti or chili separately, just not together) and would just make my own lunch on Sundays but they would not let it go and seemed to think I was just trying to be difficult.
and no, they're not from Cincinatti.

This is the first time I have ever heard of that even being a thing, and that sounds really gross.

I don't like bananas. I seem to be the only person in the world, judging from how people react when I say so.

I don't really get the spicy food thing either. Back when I ate meat I didn't think chicken tasted so great on its own but I didn't think it was a thing to make fun of anyone over.

You're not alone. I work with a teacher who doesn't like bananas either, not even banana flavored things.

I don't like bananas. I don't like the taste, and I don't like the smell. I know that they're good for me, but I cannot abide the taste, it is really strong. Bleargh.

I love bananas and think they're one of the greatest foods ever, but my dad hates them and does not eat them, so you're not alone.
