People without thigh gaps don't notice them?

(Anonymous) 2017-08-27 11:54 pm (UTC)(link)
I don't know. It seems possible that if you have a trait yourself, you're more aware of it in others. But I have no idea of that's actually the case or not.

Nayrt
Are you asking or making a statement shrouded inexplicably as a question? Either way, me with my thunder thighs always notices thigh gaps when I see them.

More confused as to how the anon I was referring to thought it was relevant to my comment that they themselves have a thigh gap. The way they worded it made it sound as if they were implying that people without thigh gaps notice them less.

(Anonymous) 2017-08-28 12:22 am (UTC)(link)
Well, you say you don't notice them, but I notice them all the time. Maybe I live somewhere that thigh gaps are more common. Or maybe I just notice them more than you do.

I have no idea if having a trait makes one more likely to notice that trait in others, but it's possible. When I'm insecure about something to do with my body, I definitely notice that body part more in others. But I'm not sure about traits one isn't insecure about. *shrugs*

I'm still not sure what you're insinuating here.

(Anonymous) 2017-08-28 12:57 am (UTC)(link)
...um?

I'll clarify, but I'm not sure what's unclear?

Do you have a theory as to why I notice thigh gaps all the time and you rarely do? It honestly doesn't really matter, but I'm getting the feeling you're annoyed about something, and I'm not sure what that's about.

Are you always this evasive, or just when you're angling for drama?

(Anonymous) 2017-08-28 01:31 am (UTC)(link)
Ah, ok, troll then. Got it.

(Anonymous) 2017-08-28 01:39 am (UTC)(link)
Takes one to know one.

(Anonymous) 2017-08-28 01:48 am (UTC)(link)
Sorry but I don't see how ayrt is being evasive. If anything you seem like you're offended (by their thigh gap? By their disagreement with the secret?). Idk anon. I dont have a thigh gap myself, but I'd say they're guilty of a mild humble-brag at worst. Why so mad?

(Anonymous) 2017-08-28 01:52 am (UTC)(link)
How am I mad?

(Anonymous) 2017-08-28 02:06 am (UTC)(link)
"Evasive" "trying to start drama" idk anon, but you do seem kinda mad.

(Anonymous) 2017-08-28 02:54 am (UTC)(link)
Well, I wasn't. But I'll try to sound less mad in the future.

DA

Yeah, same. I'm not gonna lie, I kinda wish I did have a thigh gap. Not enough to stress about it though. But I definitely notice them on others. But I notice traits I like about myself on othe people too, so. *shrugs*
