My mother passed away a long time ago but wow would she give people shit as an anon on the internet. She would be starting arguments just to piss people off.

As much shaming, moralizing, and guilt-tripping as goes on here, I'd be surprised if my mom wasn't anon here.

...Not much would change.

She'd ask a lot of questions and leave a lot of comments wildly missing the point of the secrets, of the questions asked in GC, lots of comments asking for clarification about what's being asked of her...

She'd be an annoying anon, but she'd also probably forget about the community within a week, a month at most, and never return.

There'd be a bunch of telenovela secrets and constant "Did you eat? Did you shower? Are you doing okay?" comments.

She would write secrets about Blades of Glory, the Proposal, and Bridesmaids.

Because those are the only three movies she watches.

There'd be a lot of asking people invasive questions about their sex lives, and calling men who don't conform to societal standards of masculinity pussies.

she doesn't even get the concept of fanfic.

Oh, god. My mother. Anti-anything sex outside of married (and thus even anyone not married reading it). Homophobic. Thinks no one should watch anything overly graphic or dark. I think she'd run in terror and try to make me quit.

Great because then my mother would still be alive.

A conduit to beyond the grave. My mom was really into Breaking Bad and I tried to explain the concept of fandom to her, and now I'm picturing her ghost posting Breaking Bad fanart. But then she and my dad were drug runners for awhile; maybe she'd just bitch about the "unrealistic" bits.

She'd be saying that everyone here is far too old for this sort of thing and we should go outside, then constantly ask how peoples' relationships are and giving bad diet advice

Can't say I ever had a mother, to be honest. Obviously, there was a birth giver, but if she came around, there'd be great amounts of wank. But first she'd test the waters by flattering everyone and pretending she was something she absolutely was not.

I have the sinking feeling she would tell people how misunderstood Trump is.
