We didn't get it bad. We were very lucky. Even ten miles from us flooded. A few large tree branches down in our backyard, but nothing more serious than that.

Good to hear that.

Thoughts going out to everyone being affected by the horrible flooding. Will look into donating to organizations or something soon here-I'd like to do something to help people down there.

Seconding this. I'm not in the US but hope all of you who are are staying safe. The flooding in Houston sounds horrific. :(

I'm okay but i live in central Tx so we didnt get it bad - luckily all my friends from the Houston area are also safe too. Lots of local businesses are trying to raise money for relief efforts.
