I think John Adams High from Boy Meets World is probably the best fictional high school, if only because George Feeny is such a dedicated educator and administrator. That's both the ideal high school and the one I'd have most wanted to attend.

The social hierarchy and dysfunction at Neptune High from Veronica Mars is enthralling.

Idk. I love teen shows. But a lot of teen shows move focus away from the schooling. Like The O.C. Those kids were hardly ever in class, so it's hard to say how well their school functioned as a school.
