AYRT I answered the OP's question with specs. I'm only one of two people who actually answered. But if they were struggling for money -- I have no idea of their circumstances -- and £1000 is a hell of a lot of money to drop on a single item, then a console is a viable alternative for the kind of games they want to play. If US prices are similar to UK prices then they could save about $600.

It's not like I said PCs were bad or PC gaming was bad. Why is there always something in this comm out to pick a fight over something completely innocuous?

Because when you're looking for something specific (and a laptop is a hell of a lot more versatile than a console ever is), someone going, "OR GET THIS INSTEAD IT'S CHEAPER" is basically unsolicited advice.

I already gave them advice about the PC/Laptop specs. I'm sorry you're having a bad day or whatever (I genuinely mean that) but I'm having a shitty time too and this is really stressing me out. I genuinely was trying to be helpful and every time I post on this community someone either bitches me out or tells me to kill myself.
