My favorite kitty at the shelter. It is getting harder and harder to leave him. He spent an hour in my arms today. He gave me a look of betrayal when I had to put him back in his cage. He's my precious, and I want to adopt him so badly. He needs to be adopted by someone. It makes me both happy and sad every time I go to the shelter and he's still there. I've grown attached, and yet he needs a home and I can't be that home right now. Argh, so frustrating. It hurt my heart today to leave him.

Can you foster him at all? It'd probably be better to have a kitty in a foster than in a cage at the shelter if possible!

I keep trying to suggest that to my mother, but no. Right now he's my incentive for finding a job.

I like this shelter because most of the cats aren't in cages. But he has to be because he's FIV positive. And he can't even use the little outside area the other FIV cats take turns at because he can't be in direct sunlight because he gets skin cancer easily.
