The old addon architecture is incompatible with their new engine. Some addons have already made the switch.

Thanks for this! The thing I read made it sound like they would just be gone, so I'm glad to hear this. I was able to find updated versions of about half of them. I think it doesn't go into effect until November, though, so there's time for the others to be updated, hopefully.
