It's "e-mail", not "email".

Pizza, rolls, breads, etc. should never be baked to crunchy-brown. Slightly underdone is better!

I don't mind getting licked by cats, but I hate getting licked by dogs. I discourage my dog from licking me but positively reinforce my cat for doing it.

Glasses should always be placed rim up in the cupboards, NEVER rim down.

Good heavens, who is placing their glasses rim down?!

It keeps dust out. Or bugs if you're i a place where the ocassional cricket or whatever is just a way of life. And it's easier to wipe down the rim than wash the whole glass.

This. Every glass and mug in my cupboards from my childhood to now has been placed rim down.

Not really, because the bottom of your cupboard is probably gross. Would you lick and suck on the bottom of your cupboard? That's basically what you do when you put your glasses rim down.

Uh...i tend to remove all things from my cupboards and wipe the bottoms out at least every three months. Otherwise - clean dishes go in, the doors are always shut, they really are not that dirty, ever. What in the world are you doing with your cupboard bottoms?

Three months is an awfully long time.

I regularly clean my cupboards, and I still sure as fuck don't want to lick them.

How is it a long time when only clean dishes go in, and the doors are always shut? I dunno about you, but there's not a big film of filth and dust in my cupboards at any time, and when i *do* wipe them down, there's generally only a little bit of dust along the outer edge or in a corner or something.

Did you not read the part about cleaning the rim?

There are these mats you buy, they are rubbery and grippy, you put them in the bottom of the cabinet and you replace them every so often.

ME.

For me, it's because I put my glasses in stacks in my cupboard.

My parents have always had them rim-up, but individual. So it's not like I'm unfamiliar with the technique.

But I can't have glasses made of breakable material (self-harm issues), so all of mine are plastic. And I stack them. About three high. So it's easier for me to get them out of the cupboard rim-down.

Works for me.

I like my pizza rolls and such nicely crisp. I used to ask the pizza place to overcook my pizza (a little burnt is fine!). I put most stuff in the toaster oven instead of the microwave so they're crispy on the edge and nicely browned.

Dog drool is gross - it's so very *slippery*, i guess for ease of wolfing down huge chunks of crap (their teeth aren't really made for chewing stuff up finely), and it's just nasty on your skin.

Glasses go rim down, man, wth. :)

IA but as someone who has a daily goal to make and sends a lot of them I've gotten used to just typing email because the extra .0005 second I save is worth it.

IA with everything else too.

I have heard that dog saliva has properties that help wounds heal. However I grew up mostly with cats so when it comes to just casual licking, I am used to a cat's raspy tongue.

It's actually full of bad bacteria. There was a study recently that concluded you should never ever let your dog lick your face. I mean, think about it, dogs eat their own feces
