I don't see your point. Are you trying to say that eating less is always disfiguring or what?

I'm saying that "people lose weight in famines" is not really a productive thing to say in a conversation about health and weight, regardless of whether it's true. In fact I would say that it's the opposite of productive.

It was just an example to prove that eating less will always lead to weight loss, not a dieting tip. I spefically mentioned that eating healthy is a different matter.
