Mine is going horribly. Anyone else having a better day?

Mine was p shit. I got a new job (yay!) but I'm not fond of it and it stresses me the fuck out (boo!).

I mean, on one hand, money and it's the only place that would hire me, on the other hand, it's in a field I don't like and as an introvert with anxiety it is probably one of the worst jobs I could have.

But shit, if I want to get out of here and get better job prospects elsewhere, I need to stick it out as best I can.

I'm fairly certain I flunked my test today and I ended up throwing up afterwards, but I'm better now. My friend's gonna pick up some tacos and we're gonna hang out and make fun of Netflix's Death Note.

My sister was messaging myself and sister 2 on FB telling us she had dire news and an emergency. Then she didn't tell us what for another three hours. Come to find out, her youngest daughter told her that our brother molested her when she was a kid. Long ago, I talked about how her oldest daughter told her the same thing and asked what I should do about it (I told my sister to go to the police).

Well, this time they are investigating. And she is freaking out because she A) Doesn't want to tell our dad. B) Is in the middle of a child support battle C) Is high strung as it is.

So we talked about it on a group call. I suggested she A) Talk to her lawyer B) Don't give a shit about what other people in our town think C) Realize she is not the parent of our father and it isn't her job to protect him D) MOVE AWAY like everyone else has done because that town is poison.

She got pissed because she has no one to help her and told us she would kill herself if she has to deal with people in our hometown looking at her. And that we don't understand because all of us other kids moved someplace us but are still close enough to visit each other (she is a day's drive away).

Then sister 2 got mad because she was making assumptions and hollering at us as if our lives are perfect. And she hung up which ended the group call.

I messaged my sister to tell her what I think she should do (she has not seen it).

I don't know what else I can do. You can't help someone who won't help themselves. And frankly, I am sick of my family in that area only calling when they need money or something bad has happened.

Not bad. It's supposed to be 110°-115°F here this weekend so I went grocery shopping and did my laundry today so I won't have to do it in stifling heat. I had a coupon for Halo Top ice cream so I got a new flavor, and it's not bad. I put clean sheets on my bed. Tomorrow I have literally nothing to do but my workout, so I plan on going to my favorite boba tea place and grabbing a treat. The only shitty thing (besides the fucking heat wave) is my husband has a bad cold and doesn't feel like doing much.

Allright . Went to the psych and now I have another appt in September. I'm getting fed up with job hunting, feeling like all of these places I keep applying just don't really care and brush me off. I know that's stupid and selfish and I sound like a self centered prick to say that but.. I just want a job so I can contribute to the household and quit feeling like a useless mooch.

I dunno I just... I want my moods to act normal. I want a job and I just want to be in a good place and not feel like a failure of an adult.

On a brighter note I'm super happy that I'm learning more and getting better at art.

Kicking myself realizing I should have just said that I haven't felt much difference instead of being wishy washy about it at my appointment because I had one really bad day when my lexapro ran out.

Fuck I hate needing so much medication. I feel like my emotions are just broken.

2 hours of sleep last night. A panic attack this morning. A migraine most of the day. Had to run errands. Traffic was horrible because there is a rumor going around about a San Antonio gas shortage (there is one in areas more effected by Harvey, but not here), so people were lining up to get gas all the way out onto the street, blocking traffic. Tired now but can't sleep. So bad day too.

Hope things get bettre for you.

I was supposed to clean my apartment today but I just did some straightening and then conked out. My mood is better though - it was awful all week and now I'm not feeling quite as horrible. So I guess I'm having a better day but I'm sorry to hear about yours.

I actually did have a good day. We went birding to a couple of new places, and while I didn't get anything new for the life list, the places we scoped were pretty cool--one of them might be a migrant trap in a couple of weeks. I figured out how I'm going to finish this short story I'm working on. We went to dinner at Sizzlers so I didn't have to cook. And the liquor store had Sam Adams Cherry Wheat Ale in stock, and the strawberry-kiwi vodka I like was on sale.

It's 3AM and I'm riding the night bus on my way back home after a vacation. Could be better if I could manage to sleep but between the constant changes in motion, people coughing, light seeping through my sleepmask and my own excitement at the idea of yay I'm going home and tomorrow I'll meet with my friends to eat cake, buy books and discuss fandom, it's a bit tough.

I just ordered pizza, pasta and cheesesticks. I intended to eat a little of all of it. Instead I ate two slices of pizza and all five cheesesticks and now I don't feel good.

Thank god the pizza was a thin crust.

Having a sucky day, in part because I got a bunch of urgent technical tasks thrown on my desk ahead of a deadline tomorrow.

I'm sorry, anon. I hope your day improves or at least you get some much deserved rest.

I just realized I'm sick with some throat infection, which is what was causing all my fevers and sleepiness as of late. Will be taking antibiotics and getting a much needed rest during the weekend.

I got to play with other peoples' money to potentially horrific tax implications!!

Short version: I found a 400k error from 2013 that affects retained earnings.

Important part: It's before I was hired.

Mine wasn't horrible, and I'm sorry yours was. I'm ignoring a bunch of stuff I have to do, and despite not doing much of anything today, I seem to have pulled or strained something so my neck and back and one shoulder all hate me right now.

I slept through it, will have to go do shopping when morning gets here, because yesterday was my normal shopping day. Time as of this comment is 2:11AM.

Found a flat close to work and will be moving out from my parents tomorrow~
