Leading left turn arrows suck.
(Anonymous) 2017-09-01 03:14 am (UTC)(link)If you are eating with someone, not just getting food at the same place, you should turn off your phone.
For most baked goods, butter is so much better than vegetable oil.
You should tie your shoes with two loops (bunny ears) instead of the standard knot, which is harder to teach and harder to learn.

(Anonymous) 2017-09-01 10:17 pm (UTC)(link)Are you kidding? As a very young child, I could never understand what they were talking about with the hole (though they used a rabbit not a squirrel) because their fingers were always in the way so couldn't see what they were doing. So I taught myself the two loops and only later, when I had a little more dexterity and took some time to try out different bows was I able to do it. I still think the two loops is easier.

(Anonymous) 2017-09-01 10:38 pm (UTC)(link)I think most kids learn best with the bunny ears method but I personally couldn't grasp that idea as a kid. The "over, under through the loop" method made more sense to me, though.

(Anonymous) 2017-09-01 10:10 pm (UTC)(link)Butter is the best. Though I do have to admit to occasionally subbing in some sour cream or cream cheese for a small portion of butter, for a bit of tang and a little texture change.

(Anonymous) 2017-09-01 10:08 pm (UTC)(link)Nope, nope, sorry, cooking changes the texture and taste too much for me. I'm the same way with most fruit, too. (I do have both a sensitive sense of smell and an overdeveloped sense of taste which tends to make me a picky eater.)
