I'm going to the local Labor Day White Trash Fest! I will double-fist pineapple whips and homemade root beer, buy handicrafts I don't need, and get horribly sunburned while I try desperately to keep all manner of fried foods down in my stomach where they belong.

I wish. It's actually called the Santa-Cali-Gon Days Festival. But don't let that fool you! It's just an excuse for white trash to gather and be wonderfully, beautifully white trash.

It's supposed to be a celebration of the pioneering spirit because it takes place where the Santa Fe, California, and Oregon trails started.

The definition of "pioneering spirit" has changed and now refers to eating from shady looking food stalls.
