The Silmarillion. On HBO or something like that because of all the darkness and death and such. No sex, but it has all the violence that another channel would probably gloss over.

Mary Stewart's Merlin Trilogy. Maybe on Starz or SyFy?

Dragonriders of Pern on SyFy. I know, I know, but I want more dragons on tv.

The Sabriel series by Garth Nix. It could just be movies, but I think there is enough there for a tv show. Not sure what channel.
