I think Melissa de la Cruz's Blue Bloods series would be the perfect fit for The CW.

Or at least it would have been during the Twilight-led vampire phase of the mid naughties. One of the biggest reasons I resented and hated Twilight as much as I did at the time was that all of my friends were obsessed with it and I had no one to talk to about Blue Bloods with.

Idk if it would work now. Also, Lifetime already made de la Cruz's Witches of East End into a series, and the two book series share a universe. And sadly, Lifetime canceled East End.
