The revival feels like a series of awkward student plays one after another that barely have any connection. I'm not sure anyone really "fits" in it.

Not gonna lie - a lot of The Return was disappointing and unenjoyable. It wasn't that it was "David Lynch, love him or DON'T WATCH YOU HATER"...it was just disjointed and unfulfilling. Like 4 characters get closure - if that - and most of them are miserable/astoundingly uncomfortable in their lives. Where is the quirky fun? The mysterious suspense and "out there" contemplations? It was too much and not enough all at once. *so sad*
