Fandom wouldn't disappear. But it would be different. It would probably be a lot more casual since no one would have the time or energy to hyper-involve themselves in it if they were also filling up their time with other things. There might be a decrease in the amount of meta, fan fiction, and fan art that a fandom would produce because those things take time. So, anyone who is casually involved in it would probably just post memes and spam because those things take only a few seconds to do.
