Definitely private prisons. Outsourcing is usually nasty, but private prisons are usually horrifying. I don't know if I agree on the address thing. I guess I do, except once the applicant actually gets a job, I think they should provide their address, unless they don't have one, in which case they still need to provide a valid phone number and email address. I think using no address=no job as a way to discriminate against homeless people is despicable, but I also think employers should have their employees' addresses when they've got them.

Isn't the address thing because it's needed for tax purposes?

nayrt but yeah, I work in an area that is at the intersection of a few separate states, and they need my address at very least to verify which state taxes should be taken out of my paycheck. As far as I know, that's absolutely necessary.

On a job application though? Maybe not.
