I will continue my trend of nominating Frequence (the 2000 movie) and I'm sure not getting any fic for it.

Beyond that, I don't know. Def. more excited for Trick or Treat this year.

Last year was my first yuletide and this is my first year being aware of it early enough to get noms in so I have a question!

Is there a way to tell if what you are nominating has already been nominated? Like will it tell you if you're doing a repeat or is it just a game of chance? I am just worried about potentially wasting one of my slots :o

There's no official way where you can be 100% sure but there are some people who self-identify what they nominated and you can see if your fandom's on the list:

Be aware, though, that people can change their minds so it's possible that what's on the list might not actually end up on the tag set. Also, most people don't report. I usually advise that if there's a fandom you would be crushed didn't make it in, then make sure you nominate it, even if someone else said they were going to nominate it too.

To be honest I really don't want to go post on FFA or _coal just so I can report my nominations. But thanks for linking the spreadsheet! I can get an idea if there will be enough fandoms I can write and anything I'd like to receive besides what I nominated.

Thanks for the tip! One of my noms is already reported, but maybe I should leave it in? I guess I have a little time to decide if I want to leave it for assurance or go to my 4th runner up choice :o
