I don't see why it's clearly intended for people who find it titillating. Intention speaks to what the creators had in mind, and i don't think - in most cases - that creators have WLW in mind when they put "male gaze" stuff in movies.

They also don't necessarily exclusively have straight white men in mind.

The female form, with its suggestion of life-bearing and life-sustaining capacity, is a universal symbol of eroticism in the way that a male form is not. Especially if juxtaposed with violence or death as is often the case in action and horror genres.

No it is fucking not. I think you've gotten to the root of the problem here, because that is a personal and cultural assumption, not some universal fact. I don't find females erotic. At all. And I don't think I'm somehow singular.

No. It's fine for you to feel this way about the female form, but it's how you feel. It's not universal and it's not a fact.
