I absolutely love outsider POVs but sometimes you notice how some authors suddenly got way more invested in their POV OCs than the actual canon characters, at which point it turns from Outsider POV fic into self-indulgent OC fic with a side of canon characters. Which is alright if someone wants to do that, but it's not what I read fic like that for.
