I was quite impressed with his activism over the New Era estate thing. I know one of the locals who was involved in the campaign, and they speak pretty highly of him. I always thought he was a complete knob, and I still think the Andrew Sachs thing was disgraceful, but I think better of him in the light of that.

(I continue to find him annoying as a media personality, though).
