Let's be real; this isn't even the third-worst child sex scene by a famous writer who should know better. (Have you ever gone back and reread Piers Anthony? Good lord.)

Piers Anthony was messed up. But to be fair, if he were trying defend that scene by attempting to shift blame and suggest that the people who object to it are the weirdos, he'd also be receiving a heaping portion of criticism... and rightfully so.

I know I'm going to regret asking this, but what did Piers Anthony do? I only read a couple of his books (and I'm definitely not a fan).

I haven't read it myself, but from what I understand, he writes a sex scene between a 5 year old girl and a pedophile and frames it as the girl consenting. Among other things.
