Yes, this. I'm bad with faces and it doesn't help if people wear uniforms, have roughly the same hair colours and often quite similar hairstyles. I usually go by voices, but that harder if it's a language you dont understand or just understandlittle of.
I had trouble telling the two blond guys in Pacific Rim apart as well, though context usually helps.
