Aside from the bad CGI, I've heard decent things about this film, and I'm a big fan of the book so I'm looking forward to seeing it next week. But I still have this niggling sadness that Cary Fukanaga didn't stay on to direct it. The first season of True Detective is still one of the creepiest things I've ever seen.
