How does it feel...

...to be so wrong? Granted, I haven't read the book, but the original film had a wonderful balance of terror and wonder. This just had me wondering when WW was going to have the Oompa-loompas hold a kid down so he could have is way with them.

"Wow this person's Willy Wonka opinions are terrible" was literally the first thought that went through my head when I read this secret. I'm not usually that judgey. Art is subjective and all that. But JD's Wonka is honestly one of the worst movies I've ever watched. I felt actively repulsed through the whole thing. Meanwhile, Wilder's Wonka - while dated and not at all perfect - has so many fascinating, whimsical, heartfelt, and poignant moments in it, and is always a pleasure to watch.
