I never could get into this show. Almost all the characters are too assholey to be funny IMHO.

Eh, it is just Seinfeld for a new generation.

I never found that show funny either.
P.S. I don't particularly care how small a minority that makes me.

nayrt - I never found Seinfeld to be very funny, either. IMO it hasn't stood the test of time, either.

I never liked Seinfeld. Or Friends, which seems to shock even more people than my not liking Seinfeld.

Friends was just unfunny and boring to me

I also found Friends unfunny and boring, though I'll admit I only saw something like 1.5 episodes. I never watched Seinfeld - it was big in my non-TV-watching phase.

there were some 90s TV shows I loved and still love though, MST3K, Frasier, Beavis and Butthead, etc.

It's not as funny as Seinfeld

I also like Archer a lot and most of the characters on that show are jerks. I can't really identify what it is but there's a line that either gets crossed or it doesn't as to whether or not I like an obnoxious character (although one thing that pissed me off was in the later House seasons they seemed to be deliberately eliminating any qualities that made him sympathetic). I don't know if this makes sense to anybody reading it.

Archer himself has a heart, deep down and is well-read. And he has a child-like excitement for things he finds cool, like guns and knives and ocelots. That counts for a lot, honestly.

he seems to have a soft spot for big cats, remember he was genuinely upset when that tiger got shot.

IMO, House is absolutely an asshole, but he's still funny. Seinfeld and friends? Nah.

House is also smart, musically talented and can be charming when it suits his purpose, plus he can save your life. Also it doesn't hurt that Hugh Laurie is sex on legs.
