Geez, I honestly forgot Glee existed there for a while. The last thing I heard about any of them was that Mark Salling got busted for child porn? Oh and those books Colfer writes, my niece fucking LOVES those. Has there been anything else juicy?

Yes. Naya Rivera writing this in her book about Lea Michele

"One of the Glee writers once said that Lea and I were like two sides of the same battery and that about sums us up. We are both strong willed and competitive—not just with each other but with everyone—and that's not a good mixture. As the show progressed, though, that friendship started to break down, especially as Santana moved from a background character to one with bigger plot lines and more screen time. I think Rachel—erm, I mean Lea—didn't like sharing the spotlight.

I'm not offended when people offer feedback or criticism, and if things get heated on set, I try to keep perspective. We're all stressed, yes, but we're all working toward the same goal, so laugh it off and keep it movin'. Lea was a lot more sensitive, though, and it seemed like she blamed me for anything and everything that went wrong."

There was drama with Buffy?

(Anonymous) 2017-09-26 06:38 am (UTC)(link)
There was always a bit, but look up Whedon and the divorce, lately

(Anonymous) 2017-09-25 11:16 pm (UTC)(link)
What happened with Buffy, aside from Joss sleeping with the girls? I'm rewatching it as an adult, having not seen it since I was 17.

He almost didn't hire the actress for Tara cause he thought she was too fat.

Pretty sure he fucked Eliza Dushku too, who was heavily into drugs and alcohol at the time.

He ain't shit. 'Feminist' my fucking ass.

(Anonymous) 2017-09-26 12:34 am (UTC)(link)
Not that that isn't in character for both of them, but I'm not going to second your "pretty sure."

(Anonymous) 2017-09-26 04:43 am (UTC)(link)
Where are you getting this?

(Anonymous) 2017-09-26 06:39 am (UTC)(link)
I'd fuck her, and I'm a straight woman.

(Anonymous) 2017-09-26 07:03 am (UTC)(link)
The issue here is not whether or not Eliza Dushku is hot

(Anonymous) 2017-09-25 11:17 pm (UTC)(link)
I wish Glee was good. Stupid Ryan Murphy always making things I hate with amazing casts

You can't tell me there was behind-the-scenes drama and not link me up.

Found these

Gellar's response to people being angry that she was being "snobby" or "too good" to appear on Angel:

Ex stunt co-ordinator saying in an interview that Sarah was a diva on set and some shit about his wife that he goes on about:

His wife was Buffy's stunt double Sophia Crawford. She was amazing, but after the way the show treated her I don't blame them for leaving the show.

It always bothered me that SMG claimed she didn't have a stunt double and did all of her own stunts. I love Buffy and I love SMG as Buffy but I absolutely can believe that she was a nightmare on set. I don't think someone who lies about doing their own stunts is disliked merely for being professional on set. And there's plenty of behind the scenes footage that shows us she played around on set as much as anyone else.

Oooooh thanks, anon!

(Anonymous) 2017-09-26 12:54 am (UTC)(link)
huh, I'm just the opposite. I don't want to know a thing about what negative shit went on off-camera, because it tends to ruin my immersion in the universes of shows I enjoy.

I usually prefer fandom drama to BTS drama... like, BTS can be stressful when it effects real people's lives e.g. the 'CBS trying to fire all the women on Criminal Minds' drama.

But I am here for any unfolding Joss drama from here on out. I want that fucker to crash and burn.

Agreed. If it's a network being a pain in the ass to actors on a show (as was the case with your "Criminal Minds" example), that's one thing, 'cause in that case I can sympathize with the cast and crew, since they're often just as upset about being shafted by the network's boneheaded moves as the fans are.

But if there's drama with the actual cast itself, yeah, it can definitely affect one's enjoyment of a show, for sure.

How very very lucky you have been in your life, anon, if you think that Whedon is a dreg of maleness that needs to burn.

(Anonymous) 2017-09-26 09:54 am (UTC)(link)
+1

(Anonymous) 2017-09-26 10:53 am (UTC)(link)
It is important to quantify the badness of all things and only care about the very baddest thing, to care about any of the lesser bad things would be bad.

A very strong argument anon and definitely how the world should work. My ways are changed.
