I'm just here to get excited that anyone else gives a shit about Hinterland.

I'm thinking of watching it. I was intimidated that there were three seasons but they are short seasons so I might just give it a try.

(I'm not actually planning on shipping anything, but I always say that and it doesn't always end up that way.)

I'm halfway through season two and enjoying it so far. It reminds me a little of Wallander, only Welsh instead of Swedish. Like Wallander (which I also liked) one of the most interesting aspects of it is just seeing Wales and a bit more of Welsh culture.

Hinterland!!!!

I was just surprised about the shipping. For me it's not one of those shows I watch for the shipping. it's...kind if like my comfort dark procedural? The setting, the pacing, the crime, the characters. I feel the same way about River. I should probably start watching Wallander again.

but yay! Hinterland!
