Dang, I am really behind on this podcast. But I also don't care about the overarching story!

Haaaaaaaaaaaaaaard same. I hated that almost every episode in season two had some kind of link back to a big story (even just a name) instead of letting some stand alone. I really hope they dial it back in season three.

Agreed. I didn't mind the "overarching plot" thing when a connection to the main storyline was only accidentally discovered several times after recording. Every recording being connected takes away from the mystery I think. I also think they played up the main narrator's paranoia too much.

Did I make this in my sleep?! TOTALLY agree. I love the statements, the episodes about the overarching plot make me want to stop listening. I've completely lost interest in The Black Tapes for the same reason, hope this doesn't go the same way.
