I'm amused by the backlash because I think it fits them. Yeah, it's bad. Yeah, it's the opposite of sexy, cool, or sophisticated. But I think they were written that way.

The problem isn't that they don't look sexy, cool, or sophisticated. It's that they look like they both dye their hair very badly. I could kind of see Crowley attempting a dye job and failing miserably. Aziraphale's clothes don't look like they belong to someone stuck in 1950, but they look appropriately dated. I don't know wtf is going on with Crowley's clothes.

I know the characters aren't sexy, cool, or sophisticated, but as people said above, this looks like bad cosplay and a bad hair dye job.

I'd imagine Aziraphale's hair looking more natural, and his clothes looking older. And Crowley's hair should probably be less... whatever it is.
