Re: Depression

Get into a fun fan-related activity, whatever that is for you. (Discovering a new show, browsing fan art, writing or reading, etc.) Try to avoid the argument parts of fandom and just do your own thing in whatever way is fun for you.
Block or avoid all news (for now). The slant is pretty dark and not conducive to mental health even for non-depressed people. Taking care of yourself needs to be top priority for you.
Be outside / breathe fresh air / take short walks as much as you can. It's a help.
Make sure you're eating and taking your vitamins the best you can. Nutrition affects more than people think.
Sleep. Sleep is good.
Find something to look forward to. For me, it's usually a new book by a favorite author, or new episodes of a series. Something to look forward to, even if it's not too far in the future. You want a good association with living, with facing the next days to come, rather than what depression wants you to think about life in general.
I also listen to Bruce Springsteen, but IDK, that's probably just me. :)
Best of luck!
